Plot

After the grand success of Sex and the City, Michael Patrick King directed Sex and the City 2, which is a sequel to the 2008 movie. A hilarious comedy with romance as its central theme, the movie focuses on the lives of the four friends, Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, who meet two years after the time shown in the first movie. While Carrie’s marriage to Mr. Big is not going on smoothly, because of a huge difference in their opinions, Samantha is unmarried and is trying to stay sexually active by using hormones. Charlotte has two kids to take care of and suspects her husband Harry has a thing for the kids’ caretaker, Erin. Miranda has no qualms other than a few issues at her workplace. An Arab sheikh offers Samantha the chance to bring her friends along, on a trip to Abu Dhabi, in order to create a PR campaign for his ventures. The friends accept the offer gleefully and what follows when the four women head to UAE is the crux of the movie. The story moves on to show how Carrie gets attracted to her ex-lover and ends up kissing him. When she gets back to her friends, crying, they advise her to avoid telling about this to her husband, to which, she doesn’t obey and gives him a call rights away.
